MijiBora means Better Cities in Swahili. Powered by Open Cities Lab with foundational support from the UK government, MijiBora brings together city leaders & officials, grassroots innovators, tech experts, policy shapers, and investors to co-create better cities rooted in community and context. Through vibrant Communities of Practice, accessible Digital Toolkits, and tailored Technical Assistance Pathways, MijiBora equips cities to move from fragmented efforts to collective impact.

We use the fictional city of Pazuri as a narrative prompt to spark imagination beyond today's urban challenges. Pazuri is the Caring City that leaves no one behind, inspiring us to believe that better African cities are within reach when we co-create with purpose.
